WHAT IS RAZORPAGES

Razorpages is the first community for independent and small press authors where authors can connect with authors and readers can connect with authors. Using the latest in internet communication media, such as blogs and podcasts, we have create an entirely new experience for readers and authors.

As a reader, so often when I finish a book, my experience ends with the last page. Although I may discuss it with people, what if I actually had a forum where I could interact with the author? I could finally have the answers to my questions as to why a certain character did something, or why an author chose to research the life of a certain historical figure. To interact, real-time with an author and hear their thoughts, not only at the end of a book, but while I am reading it, will change the way people readers experience books.

As an author, writing can be a lonely endeavor—finding authors who are experiencing the same challenges as you are can be extremely empowering, and can help you to perfect your craft. In addition, getting real feedback from my readers would be extremely valuable—through the comments people make in response to my blogs, the ratings they give my books, and the comments they make on my books. I have a unique opportunity to use the internet as my training ground. Based on the interest I am able to generate in my own razorpage and the following I develop, I may also be more likely to be able to gain the support of an agent or publisher.

Razorpages is a unique community, and we are excited for you to become a part of it, and to use the tools that we have made available. It is created for authors and readers, and driven by authors and readers—so we look forward to developing with you a unique, multidimensional literary experience.

To join the community, you can go here to login as an author or here to login as a reader.
